Thank you so much for your donation. We are thrilled that Runtech Ltd has chosen to support the Noah's Ark Appeal. Your support will help us to complete the Children's Hospital for Wales and enable it to become one of the very best in the World. To achieve this in our Phase Two campaign, we'll be fundraising for more than just bricks and mortar, as these alone do not make a world-class children's hospital . One of the main goals of our campaign is to equipment in the new critical care unit that will combine intensive and high dependency care. This specialist equipment is expensive but it is vital that this crucial unit has the most advanced technology available. Keep an out for other exciting campaign news and developments on our website: www.noah's-ark-appeal.org. Here you can also find further information about the appeal and its work. On behalf of everyone at The Noah's Ark Appeal, thank you for helping us to ensure that the Children's Hospital for Wales will be a world-class facility, providing the very best of care for generations sick children in Wales.

My name is Ken Smith I am the manager of Appleby & Frodingham Saints U/9's 2011/12. On behalf of all the boys who play in the team, their parents and myself we would just like to say a huge thank you for your sponsorship of our new football strip. The boys love the new strip as it is a different colour to what we usually wear. The boys have now worn the new strip twice and have lots of complementary comments on how smart they look. Since we started playing this is the first new strip they have been lucky enough to have thanks to your company and especially yourself Lee, we really appreciate your support and the boys will wear their new strip with pride. We would love for you come and meet the boys and watch the team play sometime

I am pleased to announce, that the Round the Island Race 2008 was a huge success for Team Project. With high winds predicted for the race, there was some doubt as to whether we would be able to make it any further than The Needles at the south western tip of the island. Race day started at 04:30 with a quick boat prep and equipment check, with the wind already blowing at a steady 15 knots from the south west. We motored out of the river for our 06:15 start to the sight of over 1850 other boats, ranging from the 11o foot Leopard of London to the 23 foot J80's, which was a very impressive sight. Our start had over 500 boats, of which 54 where in our class. We chose to stay on the island side of the line and cut across the rest of the fleet as we started. This would take us into clearer tide and more constant wind. The manoeuvre worked well with us sailing upwind to The Needles in approximately 15th place. Rounding The Needles we turned down wind for the 25 mile stretch down the back of the island, the wind becoming fresher now around 25 knots and the sun was starting to break out. At points we reached speeds of 18 knots and surfed down waves of 10 to 15 feet high. Rounding the south eastern point of the island at Bembridge, we were 10th in class and the 7th J80. We now had the final leg of up wind sailing back to the Cowes finish line. En route to the line we over took 3 other J80's, crossing the line at 13:41 seven hours fifteen minutes after we started, and just 6 minutes behind the winners. Our overall standing for the day was 4th J80(out 24 competing) and 7th boat in the 52 boat class. We feel this result reflects the hard work and training we have put in over the last two months and we were delighted with our position and result. Thank you once again for your support, with out it we wouldn't have been able to compete.
